Ever changing fashion trends and creativity are two aspects of fashion shooting that need to be aligned to the best possible way. This time though, I wanted an eclectic mix of both, a slight change on how I would do my regular shoots.

I am not a professional model; I am a fashion & style blogger. I have my own comfort zone to pose. Yeah! I stepped out just a teeny tiny bit this time.

Opting for a classy look, I wore this green plaid shirt [I fell in love with it when I first saw it] with my ripped boyfriend denim in white. To be honest, this denim is a bit too high waisted and didn’t seem to be fitting in much, into my personal choices. Nonetheless, the best looks always keep you waiting. Worth every second!

To make the attire contemporary, I folded one leg of the denim up to the calf.

Since layering is the way to go this summer, I wore these gorgeous pieces from Zahana. The Victorian cum Egyptian neckpiece with a buttoned up shirt gave it that subtle finish yet made a statement.

Such a neckpiece makes the whole thing look as if it is almost a single piece. I layered it with the lock-tassel long chain in blue to break the monotony and add a little bit of color.

Heels in bottle green & a black bag completed it for me. As an alternative, you can also carry a grey bag. No Totes please!

I prefer darker shades in heels though : burgundy or marsala with its matching lip shade will give you just the pop you need.

Happy Layering!!
